We are an intimate, urban, inter-generational, multi-cultural and multi-lingual church, in the journey of discipleship; an active presence in our community.
We are part of a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. We know that our cultural, societal, and religious backgrounds are diverse. We believe that unity is not uniformity. What unites us is the mystery of the Spirit of God working in and through us. As Christians, we base this awareness on the account from the Scriptures.
REACH, EQUIP (TEACH), SERVE
We Reach those in our neighborhood and beyond. We Equip ourselves as we Teach the principles of the Christian faith. We Serve the community as a whole.
This is the Spirit of community.
We belong to a congregational model of church life. It means that we determine our own theology and practice. But we also are in covenant with a regional body and a national expression. For this to work we need local dedicated leaders.
More than 100 years serving the Two Creeks neighborhood of Lakewood, this urban congregation is looking forward in creating more history.
